MULTI-STATE FAMILY LAW EXPERIENCE
For more than 15 years, Rebecca (Kreuser) Baer has devoted her practice exclusively to family law. She is dedicated to serving her clients with integrity, efficiency, and diligence. Rebecca is an award-winning attorney who takes the time to ensure that her clients are able to make informed decisions while maintaining dignity throughout the legal process.
After beginning her legal career in the Twin Cities, Rebecca relocated to Denver, where she continued to build her career exclusively in the area of family law. Practicing family law in another jurisdiction allowed Rebecca to gain invaluable, unique knowledge that she has used to compliment and improve her family law practice in Minnesota. Rebecca continues to be licensed to practice law in both Minnesota and Colorado.
PHILOSOPHY AND PRACTICE STYLE
A compassionate and results-driven lawyer, Rebecca will work vigorously to successfully settle your case in your best interests when possible. It is Rebecca’s philosophy that families are best served when settlement can be reached. To that end, Rebecca works well with opposing attorneys and has developed respected relationships with a network of professional experts to give her clients the best chance of avoiding the extreme stress, costs and unknowns of court, all while aggressively advocating for her own clients. Rebecca is an effective and experienced litigator when settlement cannot be reached.
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS
Rebecca graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota. She earned her Doctorate of Law degree (J.D.) from William Mitchell College of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota. While in law school, Rebecca completed Alternative Dispute Resolution and Family Mediation Training courses. Rebecca is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
PERSONAL
Rebecca resides in Eden Prairie with her husband and their two sons—the biggest joys of her life. Rebecca loves her morning coffee, the outdoors (think lakes and mountains!), baseball, music and traveling.
GIVING BACK
Throughout her career Rebecca has volunteered her legal expertise to those in need, most significantly for two years with Colorado Lawyers for Colorado Veterans and for four years with the William Mitchell College of Law Pro Bono Family Law Clinic. Rebecca has also participated in pro bono legal clinics, mock trial competitions, and the William Mitchell College of Law Student Mentor program. Rebecca strongly believes it is important for those who are most fortunate to give back to those who are not.
